      <description>Seniors: Please get your senior picture turned in to Miss Severson ASAP. The bus leaves at 8:00.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Careers in Agriculture Scholarship program is available to high school graduates and first or second year college students pursuing two- or four-year degrees in agronomy, crop production, or closely related fields. Winners are selected through a random drawing process. Further details, including college or university eligibility, can be found at usbank.com/studentloans&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Nebraska State College System is offering three scholarship programs for high school seniors to attend Chadron, Peru or Wayne State Colleges in the fall of 2010. The Board of Trustees' scholarships are full-tuition worth nearly $15,000 for four years. To qualify, you must have at least a 25 composite on the ACT and you must be enrolled in one of the schools. See Mr. Wilbeck for an application. Deadline is January 15.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Davis-Chambers Scholarship recognizes academically promising students who often find that financial requirements of postsecondary education are a major obstacle. This scholarship provides up to $2,000 financial assistance based on the FAFSA form. To be eligible you must have at least a 3.0 gpa, enroll full-time at Chadron, Peru or Wayne State College, and complete and submit an estimated FAFSA. Application deadline is January 15. See Mr. Wilbeck if interested.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Nebraska Press Association Foundation will award $2,000 scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year for students planning to enroll in post-secondary educational programs in Nebraska-based colleges and universities leading to careers in print journalism.       <description>Interested in Electronics? - Careers in the field of electronics are strong and getting stronger all the time. In 2008, 126 job openings were available for EST students. The average starting wage for the 17 SCC graduates was nearly $19/hour. There are several ways to obtain a degree in Electronic Systems Technology at SCC. Consider - Two year degree average starting salary is $40,000. Four year degree average starting salary is $45,000. Assuming total cost of $10,000 for the two year degree and $10,000 per year for a four year degree. Remember you are in the work force two years earlier. Each interested student is invited to write a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. Winners receive an all expenses paid weekend, including transportation and housing, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to attend the Scholarship Awards Ceremony. All winners must attend the Scholarship Awards Program on Saturday, April 24, 2010 to win their scholarship.
